Diseases of the Nose
The nose is the central organ of the face and it also has a central role in the specialty of ENT / Otorhinolaryngology, being related to much of the pathology of the head and neck.
The part of the nose that "appears" on our face is just the tip of the iceberg, only a small piece of the huge cavity occupied by the nose along with paranasal sinuses within the center of the face.
Furthermore, the nose is the anterior base of the skull providing sufficient scope for collaboration with the specialty of neurosurgery.
The introduction of endoscopic surgery has radically changed many of the data in the treatment of diseases of this region.
